Btc Blend on an upward trend

Exports of light sweet BTC Blend from the Turkish Mediterranean port of Ceyhan rose by 5pc on the month to 683,000 b/d in May. Transatlantic demand helped push total fows outside Europe to 370,000 b/d - Canada’s Irving Oil took two 1mn bl cargoes, another two were delivered to buyers on the US Gulf coast and a ffth cargo was sold to Uruguayan refner Ancap. Sales to Asia-Pacifc were steady at 209,000 b/d to regular buyers such as Indonesia’s Pertamina, India’s IOC and Taiwanese refner CPC.
