Seaborne crude exports from Russia outside the Transneft pipeline system grew by nearly 2pc to a six-month high of 736,400 b/d (3.06mn t) in January. Supplies from the Arctic fell by 3pc, but loadings of Sakhalin crude, in Russia's far east, were up by more than 7pc compared with December. Exports of Gazpromneft's arctic Novy Port Light and Arco grades through the Umba floating storage tanker in Kola bay fell by 11.7pc to 189,000 b/d in January. Shipments to Serbia's Gazpromneft-controlled 110,000 b/d Pancevo refinery and the UK's Finnart terminal were suspended - Gazpromneft supplied about 100,000t of Arctic crude to both routes in December. And supply from the Umba to Rotterdam dropped by 50pc to just over a combined 300,000t in January (see table).
