Gdansk third-quarter throughput falls

Poland’s Baltic port of Gdansk handled less crude and refined products in the third quarter of this year. Combined throughputs dropped by 33pc on the year and by 15pc against the second quarter, to just over 2.5mn t in July-September. The Naftoport-operated oil terminal handled just over 2mn t of crude in the third quarter, down by 35pc on the year and 17pc lower on the quarter. A lack of export cargoes contributed to the decline, Naftoport says.
