CPC Blend loadings set to rise

Exports of Caspian light sour CPC Blend averaged 1.08mn b/d (4.1mn t) in September, down by 4pc on the month. The final exports total was lower than the 1.27mn b/d (4.84mn t) originally scheduled in CPC Terminal’s revised September loading programme - a record high at the time - after a couple of cargoes due to be loaded by Kashagan shareholders were cancelled, while severe weather conditions in the Novorossiysk area caused further delays.
