Rail crude exports hit 14-month high

Crude supplies by rail for export from Russia rose by 13pc on the month to 54,700 b/d(234,000t)in July-the highest since May 2019.Higher Rosneft deliveries to the Caspian Pipeline Consortium(CPC)system drove the increase,as the firm reduced crude runs in Russia because of lower margins.Rosneft boosted crude supply by rail to CPC by almost a quarter to 140,000t,delivering from Krotovka station in the Samara region for the first time since September and increasing supplies from other stations.
