Shipments fall as refi ning slows

Overall products exports from FSU countries dropped by more than 8pc on the month on a daily average basis to 12.2mn t in April. There were decreased shipments of almost all products, apart from fuel oil and naphtha, with Russian refi neries cutting throughputs as they adjusted to a signifi cant drop in oil demand, at home and in export markets, as a result of Covid-19 lockdown measures.
