Baltic storage interest grows

Trading companies are increasingly interested in storing oil products at terminals in the Baltic states in the face of the collapse in demand resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic, and to take advantage of the market contango, with prompt prices currently at a discount to forward values. But four of the largest terminals in the region belong to, or work closely with, big trading companies, which is limiting their ability to ofer storage capacity to third parties.
