CPC Blend rising, as BTC Blend falls

Exports of Caspian light sour CPC Blend surged almost 30pc higher on the month to 1.49mn b/d (5.67mn t) in June. And loadings at the Caspian Pipeline Consor- tium’s Yuzhnaya Ozereyevka terminal on the Black Sea were 0.5pc higher on the year at 1.3mn b/d (30.5mn t) in the frst half of 2019. The jump in June shipments followed the restart after scheduled maintenance of Kazakhstan’s ofshore 13bn bl Kashagan feld, where production exceeded 400,000 b/d in June for the frst time. Kashagan operations had been suspended from mid-April until 19 May.
