Overall products exports from FSU countries fell by just over 4pc on the month on a daily average basis to 13.7mn t in March, because of decreases in fuel oil, naphtha and gasoline shipments. First quarter exports rose by almost 2pc on the year to 39.64mn t. The increase may have been driven by higher crude processing at Russian refneries against a backdrop of fairly static domestic demand — crude deliveries to Russian refneries averaged 805,000 t/d (5.88mn b/d) in the quarter, up by 2.8pc on the year.
