RTS-Trans seals Orsk products contract

Rail operator RTS-Trans has secured a three-year contract to ship 1.3mn t/yr of clean products from Forteinvest's 135,000 b/d Orsk refinery in the Orenburg region-about a third of all supplies from the plant.The subsidiary of Kazakh transport company RTS Holding shipped around 1mn t of clean products from Orsk in the 12 months from July 2019,with supplies in June accounting for 36pc of the total products supply,according to RTS-Trans general director Nikolai Shevelev.More than 38pc of June products handled by RTS-Trans went to Black Sea ports,25pc to the Russian market,a quarter to central Asia and 12pc to destinations in Europe.
