Colombian oil regulator ANH received just one counterbid in the second phase of the country’s frst licensing round for fve years. Canadian independent Frontera Energy made a competing bid for block Vim 22 in the lower Magdalena Valley basin, challenging regional independent Geopark’s initial bid. None of the 10 other blocks that had initial ofers received counter- bids, meaning that the initial ofers stand, ANH says.
