Saudi Arabia sees demand only for local HRC

Saudi Arabian traders and pipe manufacturers are buying local HRC, while demand for import material is weak at the moment due to price increase from major suppliers. Chinese mills have raised their quotes by $15/t from the lower end of the two-week-ago level up to $300-310/t CFR, while price uptick for HRC from Japan has been $5-15/t over the previous month.
