Egyptian Steel to launch rolling mill in Beni Suef

Egypt's longs producer Egyptian Steel is about to launch a new rolling mill in Beni Suef. Besides, the company has almost completed extending its product portfolio in Alexandria, which will enable it to more fully meet domestic demand. Presently, Egyptian Steel is running cold tests at the electric steelmak-ing complex and the rebar mill (830,000 tpy and 530,000 tpy respectively) at the industrial site in Beni Suef, Metal Expert has learnt from the company's representative.
