Algeria advances with Gara Djebilet iron ore project to meet growing need of steel industry

Considering vast steelmaking projects to be introduced in the next several years in Algeria, the country is actively exploring iron ore deposits, Gara Djebilet in particular, to feed the future needs of the county's steel industry. In November Algeria's Minister of Industries and Mining, Adesselam Bouchouareb announced that the work over Gara Djebilet asset is advancing and feasibility study was started after technical study proved the project can be successful.
