Illinois basin coal market prices were mostly unchanged for a second week as firmer natural gas prices and export markets lent support. Trading activity remained subdued and just two bids and two offers were heard in over-the-counter markets. But" -seaborne market prices rose amid lower supplies in Asia, and natural gas prices in parts of the US rose closer to levels at which Illinois basin coal can compete for generation dispatch.
