Denmark’s Blue Point Pellets closes Koge plant

Danish wood pellet producer Blue Point Pellets has closed its 300,000 t/yr plant in Koge. The plant needed an extra €5mn-8mn ($5.6mn-8.9mn) of investment to reach close to its nameplate capacity, the frm said. But as investors chose not to continue in the business the plant has had to close, it added.
