Luxembourg has added biomass guarantees of origin (GOOs) to its upcoming auction next month, and will ofer the most wind GOOs since January of last year. Luxembourg is ofering 58,749MWh of biomass GOOs and 114,287MWh of wind GOOs in its auction scheduled for 6 May. This auction will be the frst to ofer certifcates for biomass, with all previous auctions only ofering wind. All GOOs were generated in the frst quarter of this year. The biomass GOOs are sourced from four plants with a total capacity of 35MW, one of which was commissioned in 2013, two in 2017 and the largest, at 21MW, in 2019.
