Prices for EN-plus wood pellets delivered northern Italy were flat on the week to Wednesday, as the summer season kept spot market activity to a minimum. Meanwhile, some participants expressed concern over a potential premium pellet shortage this winter. Bagged EN-plus certified A1 grade wood pellets were assessed flat at €228/t delivered northern Italy, while bulk EN-plus A1 pellets held at €175/t delivered northern Italy on Wednesday. Buying interest is expected to resume in September.
