Japan to expand non-fossil energy certifcate trades

Japan is planning to expand non-fossil fuel energy certifcates trading from April next year, as part of its strategy to help the country’s power suppliers, especially thermal power dependent frms, achieve a 44pc share of zero emissions power sources by 2030.
