Drax extends outage at biomass unit 3

UK utility Drax has extended by four days a shutdown at the 645MW wood pellet-fred unit 3 at its power plant in Selby, North Yorkshire. The unit was taken of line on 15 June and is now due to return to operations on 29 June, bringing the duration of the outage to just under two weeks. It was originally scheduled to come back on line on 25 June.
