One of California’s largest utilities is selling renewable energy certifcates (RECs) and electricity from select biomass facilities and other clean generators. Southern California Edison (SCE) on 23 April issued a solicitation through which the company is ofering the electricity and bundled RECs from facilities qualifying for the state’s Bioenergy Renewable Auction Mechanism (BioRAM) program, as well as “other eligible renewable resources.”
