New biomass-fired CHP in Grenoble in 1Q20

France's Leroux and Lotz Technologies and Lithuania's Enerstena, both boiler manufacturers, will produce and install a 43MW biomass-fired combined heat and power (CHP) plant in Grenoble, southeast France, targeting a March 2020 launch, Leroux and Lotz said. The plant is expected to use around 85,000 t/yr of wood chips, which will make up 92pc of its fuel. The remaining 8pc will come from recycled wood. The plant's fuel will come from within a radius of 100km, Leroux and Lotz said.
