Japanese oil firm Idemitsu is studying the feasibility of developing a 50MW biomass-fired power generation plant at its Tokuyama petrochemical complex in Yamaguchi prefecture. The project would expand the company's biomass power capacity and help find a new use for infrastructure at the former refinery site.
