Prince Rupert wood pellet throughput up in August

Wood pellet throughput at Canada’s Prince Rupert port rose in August compared with a year earlier as a result of higher exports to the UK. The port's Westview terminal, which is owned and operated by Canadian wood pellet producer Pinnacle Renewable Energy, shipped almost 120,000t of wood pellets in last month, up from 112,800t in August 2017.
