Forestalia to complete remaining renewable projects

Spanish renewables developer Forestalia will not sell further renewable generation projects as it focuses instead on wrapping up negotiations to finance power projects totalling 1.56GW. The company was awarded the right to build a combined 1.92GW of capacity in Spain’s 2016 and 2017 renewables auctions, but recently sold 58.5MW of biomass capacity to Spanish paper, pulp and bioenergy company Ence.
