Arensis restarts Andover plant

California-based Arensis has restarted production and installed a combined heat and power (CHP) plant at its 55,000 t/yr Andover wood pellet production facility in Hampshire, England, it said. Arensis purchased the plant from UK-based wood pellet producer and distributor Verdo Renewables in October last year and restarted production in December. Production has been contracted, "but we are still finalising what will happen in the future", Arensis said. "The Andover plant is the only substantial producer of A1 wood pellets in England."
