UK's Lynemouth biomass plant start-up delayed

Czech-Slovak private-sector energy holding firm EPH has further delayed the start-up date of its 396MW Lynemouth coal-to-biomass power plant conversion in the UK. The converted plant's first unit is expected to start operating on 25 January, with the plant scheduled to reach full capacity on 20 March, remit data show. The facility was previously expected to begin operations on 15 January and reach full capacity on 12 March.
