UK RHI biomass applications slump in fourth quarter

Applications for medium-sized biomass boilers under the UK's RHI non-domestic renewable heat incentive (RHI) subsidy scheme reached a record high in 2017 but almost ground to a halt in the fourth quarter of the year following tariff changes in September.
