Wood pellet exports from Australia's Bundaberg port increased by almost 40pc on the year in 2017. Bundaberg in north eastern Queensland exported 48,051t of wood pellets last year, up from 34,368t in 2016 stateowned operator Gladstone Ports Authority said. The port handled a 11,000t shipment last April and another 7,505t shipment in December, both bound for Japan. Only one cargo was sent to Japan in 2016, in a 8,255t delivery in May.
