The average retail price for premium wood pellets in Austria rose for the seventh consecutive month in December, industry association ProPellets Austria said. The average price for bulk delivery of EN plus certified A1 pellets is ?234.90/t ($276.96/t) this month, up by 0.9pc on November and by 3.6pc on December last year. Bagged supply costs ?4.01/15kg bag — equivalent to ?267.56/t — when ordered by the pallet, 0.9pc higher than in November, and up by 3.8pc from December last year.
