Pinnacle targets sales growth, proposes IPO

Canadian wood pellet producer Pinnacle Renewable is targeting sales of 1.75mn-1.8mn t/yr of wood pellets by 2019, as part of its preliminary prospectus for a proposed initial public offering (IPO) of common shares. Global industrial wood pellet demand is expected to grow by 17.7pc/yr until 2021, and Pinnacle aims to increase its production through new projects and potential acquisitions to capture demand growth.
