The spot price of Vietnam's seaborne industrial wood pellets resumed an upward trend to end the year on a new high, as the market faced a series of challenges against a backdrop of tight supply. The assessed fob Vietnam price for wood pellet cargoes loading within the next 90 days gained $4.35/t to close at $128.10/t fob Vietnam on Wednesday, as two wood pellet factories in south Vietnam halted operations after a fire.
