Asian industrial: Spot market eases

The spot price of Vietnam's seaborne industrial wood pellets eased slightly this week after strong tender demand and unusually tight supply drove the market to a two-year high last week. No fresh tenders were issued by South Korean state-owned generators this week and the market took a slight breather to mull recent tender awards. The assessed fob Vietnam price for minimum 3,900 kcal/kg wood pellets slipped back by 88￠/t to $123.13/t after a headlong upward charge in recent weeks.
