Statkraft offers biomass trading business for sale

Norwegian state-controlled utility Statkraft has placed its biomass trading desk, Statkraft Biomass Trading, up for sale. The firm is offering the purchaser Statkraft’s trading team, trade flow and existing biomass contracts including the rights to use the wood pellet and chip storage at Norway’s Tofte Port, which Statkraft owns and operates.
