Forestalia plans winter biomass plant construction

Renewables developer Forestalia plans to begin the construction of its 49.5MW Cubillos del Sil biomass-fired power plant in northern Spain in December. But the firm is awaiting permits, which could delay the start date to the first quarter of 2018, it said. Construction is expected to take two years, with the project coming on stream before its delivery deadline of March 2020.
