US' Enviva concludes Georgia Biomass acquisition

US wood pellet producer Enviva this week completed the purchase of fellow pellet producer Georgia Biomass from German utility Innogy. The acquisition - agreed in June - includes the 800,000 t/yr Waycross pellet production plant and export terminal capacity at the port of Savannah, both in the southeast US state of Georgia.
