Japan backs overseas biomass investments

Japanese companies will receive additional government incentives for overseas investments in renewable- and biomass-derived power development projects, if they make voluntary climate-related fnancial disclosures in their fnancial flings. The move is part of the Japanese government’s policies to boost energy infrastructure exports and help fght against climate change.
