Canadian National (CN) railroad and striking union workers have reached a tentative settlement that could restart some commodity shipments. CN and Teamsters Canada reached a deal on 26 November to renew a collective agreement for 3,200 train conductors and yard workers that have been on strike since 19 November. Details of the deal will not be released until union members are able to review it, a process that often takes a couple of months. But CN said a ratifcation vote could occur within eight weeks.
