Japan’s non-fossil power share edges up in 2019-20

Japan’s addition of non-fossil power supply sources edged up in the April 2019-March 2020 fscal year, supported by increased use of non-fossil energy certifcates. The country’s ratio of non-fossil power sources averaged 24pc in 2019-20, up from 23pc in 2018-19, according to a survey by the ministry of economy, trade and industry.
