Prices for premium pellets delivered to northern Italy held flat on the week, as high stocks leftover from the heating season muted fresh demand. The price for bagged EN plus-certified A1 pellets held steady on the week at €223/t delivered northern Italy and bulk pellet prices also remained flat at €170/t delivered northern Italy. Warehouses remain stocked with pellets across northern Italy following the relatively mild weather throughout winter 2018-19, traders said, subduing any fresh demand from the market. In Milan, temperatures have held around 0.6°C higher than the ten year seasonal norm since 1 March, resulting in steady but tepid residential heating demand.
