The spot price for industrial Vietnamese wood pellets rose on the week, supported by expectations of fresh South Korean demand and the enforcement of South Korea’s new wood pellet standard which requires a higher calorifc value. The spot price for industrial Vietnamese wood pellets loading in the next 90 days increased by $1.50/t on the week to $93.33/t on Wednesday.
