Canadian refinery runs down 2pc: NEB

Refinery throughputs in Canada edged down to 1.73mn b/d, a drop of 35,000 b/d from the previous week. Crude throughputs nationwide fell by 2pc during the week ending 14 August, with each of the three regions showing decreases. The largest move was seen in western Canada as refiners in that region took 4pc less crude, according to the National Energy Board.
