Mexico sends mixed signals for energy investors

Conficting messages from the Mexican government about energy investment create uncertainty for the market, a former US energy ofcial said today. “The government is sending mixed signals that we are still trying to decode,” former US State Department envoy for energy afairs David Goldwyn said at the Energy Mexico confer- ence in Mexico City today. “It is not yet clear if Mexico wants the trade and investment relationship.”
