Ashland Specialty Chemical has bought Neste Polyester's business and assets. The Neste operations will become part of the Ashland's Composite Polymers division.Neste Polyester manufactures and markets unsaturated polyester resins and gel-coats for use in composites and other products in such applications as the marine, building and construction, and transportation industries. Moreover, it is said to be the second largest manufacturer of gel-coats in the world and has production units in Finland, France, USA, Poland, China and Austria.
