Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the most common malignancies and the second leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide.1 Despite considerable research on the tumorigenesis and progression of GC, patients with lymph node metastasis (LNM) or advanced stage GC still have a poor prognosis. Thus, an enhanced understanding of GC metastasis-related genes might provide a basis for GC therapy.
