摘要

Breast cancer is a major health burden worldwide. It is the most frequent malignancy and one of the leading causes of cancer-related death among female individuals worldwide, accounting for 25% of all cancer cases and is responsible for 15% of all cancer-related deaths among female individuals.1 In Egypt, it represents about 19% of all malignant tumors diagnosed during 2000 to 2011. Moreover, it is also the most frequent malignant tumor in female individuals constituting 38% of total malignancies.2
