US-based Flow International Corp has won two military-related contracts to manufacture and install composite cutting machine tool systems. In the first contract, Armatec - a Canadian company that transfers aircraft technology to various protection systems for military vehicles - has ordered an abrasive cutting system to be used for cutting composite armour protection layers for military vehicles, including light armoured vehicles (LAVs).
