Owens Corning partners with BASF and TenCate to develop automotive thermoplastic composites

Owens Corning of Toledo, Ohio, USA, will join the partnership set up by BASF of Ludwigshafen, Germany, and TenCate Advanced Composites of Nijverdal, The Netherlands, to develop thermoplastic composites suitable for high-volume vehicle production. TenCate and BASF formally announced their partnership in November 2012 (see December 2012 issue, TenCate and BASF form strategic alliance for thermoplastic automotive composites, p. 9).
