Thin-walled mould project awarded 3 million euros

A project that aims to develop a technique for building thin-walled moulds for composites manufacturing has received funding of 3 million euros from the German Ministry for Education and Research. The technique, called spray forming, can be used to create complicated moulds more quickly and cheaply than conventional techniques.
