Superlubricity with graphene and diamonds

By combining diamond nanoparticles, small patches of graphene and a diamond-like carbon (DLC), researchers at Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) have demonstrated superlubricity, a highly desirable property in which friction drops to near zero.
